It is believe that the Ooni Of Ife is late, although their are speculations that he is still alive. But according to information released, the King kicked the bucket. It is so unfortunate that he didnt(Ooni Of Ife) could not just wait any longer for his son wedding before he passed on. The King staff of office of was used to represent him at the wedding of his son, Adegbite Sijuwade to Dolapo Oni. The Ooni of Ife died on July 28th in London, although palace chiefs are yet to announce his passing but have reportedly started traditional burial rites reserved only for the passing of a king.
