UNBELIEVABLE; To Appease The gods OF Rain, Indian Villagers Conduct Marriage Ceremony For Frogs.( MORE JUICY STORY)

Here in Nigeria, we cry of too much rainfall, some even try to hold the rain from coming down due to one event or the other. Kermit the frog is married and his wife is not miss piggy,he married an Indian and they are probably expecting their first child by now. OUR SOURCE reports yesterday that desperate villagers in an Indian region hit by droughts have held a wedding ceremony for frogs in a bid to appease rain gods. The amphibian ritual took place in the village of Dibrugarh in the north eastern Indian state of Assam.

Villagers perform the ceremony to try and bring rainfall during dry spells. Photo below;

Sanele Masilela is now nine and his wife, Helen Shabangu, is 62 years old. Yesterday’s wedding was held to introduce the groom to the bride’s family in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga.

The Kano State Hisba Board on Monday said 55 people were arrested and convicted for alcohol consumption in Kano during the ongoing Ramadan fasting. The board’s Director-General, Alhaji Abba Sufi, told NAN that the convicts were apprehended last week following raids on their hideouts in Kano.
